Good old bipod autoban

Hey I've been autobanned from WBKS #1 (flood zone round) a few minutes ago. Pretty sure this is because of the "damage mod check" server plugin as I was using using an m249 with bipod on the side of a scout heli when I got banned. In case you don't know, there is a bug with the stat engine/battlelog that erroneously reports insane damage value when using a bipod (typically with LMGs) in the passenger seats of vehicles. You can ask around in battlefield agency's discord if you don't believe me. Here's my stats : https://www.247fairplay.com/CheatDetect ... lancer9000 . As you can see no damage mod usage indication except for some LMGs which I experimented with in vehicles. Can provide gameplay if necessary. If you think bipod usage in vehicle is a glitch (spoiler : it's not) then please state it clearly in your server rules. Thanks in advance.

in our rules is (i think its the first point) a clear rule that says NO CHEATING, GLITCHIG, BUG USING.

You write yourself that you use a bug and we should write that more clearly in our rules? Maybe you should have read our rules first...

If you can get the majority of admins from BF4DB and BA to agree that using a bipod inside vehicles is a glitch worthy of being banned I'll gladly accept this ban. Otherwise, considering this has NEVER been patched (and there is no way this hasn't been noticed by DICE for so many years) then it's far more reasonable to accept this as an intended mechanic until proven otherwise. Whether you tolerate this or not on your server is another matter. If you don't, fine by me. As long as your rules are clear about it.

Edit : I explicitly said I thought it wasn't a glitch in my first post so I'm not sure where you got that from.

It just dawned on me that you might have completely misunderstood what I meant in my OP.
First : using a weapon equipped with a bipod inside a vehicle will give you the full benefit of the bipod without having to actually deploy it. There is nothing that indicate DICE didn't plan for this to happen, so this isn't a glitch. I assumed you knew about it so I didn't elaborate further.

Second : There is a bug with the stat engine/battlelog that causes it to report wildly exaggerated damage value for weapons used in the passenger seats of vehicles, this is mostly noticeable with bipod attachments. This is just a stat bug, actual damage value remain normal. Feel free to confirm this with BA/BF4DB

Third : The stat checker server plugin interprets this as damage mod cheat, triggering the autoban. This is a longstanding issue that will likely never be fixed.

We're both non-native english speakers so miscommunication can happen, especially through text. Hopefully you understand now. I can provide gameplay if you still have doubt.

1. You are banned for "DPS Automatic Ban [LIVE][4-M249-54-23-4-42]" and not for using Bipod in a "Glitch"
2. We don't need to contact BF4DB or BA to confirm you ban...

And I just repeatedly told you that you can trigger "DPS Automatic Ban" (I called this "damage mod check server plugin" in my OP) fairly easily by using a bipod with a LMG in the passenger seat of vehicles due to a battlelog bug and that any experienced admins and the BA/BF4DB staff will confirm this. I can even directly prove it to you via recording if you don't want to contact them for whatever reason should you be willing to unban me temporarily.

Well when you have people repeatedly ignore what you write, the usual reaction for most people is irritation, sorry if this offended you, I didn't write this as an insult but genuine concern. Intent is often lost in text and not everyone has perfect english so you have to take this into account. I know admins have to deal with lots of BS but so do players when dealing with admins sometimes.

Why should we do this? The sites mentioned are not official EA sites but, as far as I know, private anti-cheat sites.
Our servers are also privately run and we have clearly stated in the rules that bug using is not allowed...
So instead of discussing, you should excuse your misbehaviour.
