Linked Account??

I play a lot in your servers and always enjoy it.

Recently I get this message when trying to join;
Game disconnected: you were kicked by an admin. Stated reason: linked account [perm][judge1967]

I don´t even know what a linked account is! >.<

I swear, I never cheated in any way my entire life. Always try to play fair and square, having fun and trying to keep ppl in a good mood in servers. If I somehow annoyed you I sincerely appologize.

I hope you will un-ban me as I miss plying in your servers a lot.

your account was banned because it is linked to TBODuck and siir_sqrl and these two account have been banned for Aimbot/Hacking/Cheating

how is it linked to them? I don't even know who they are???

is it sth with IP adress? coz I should have a seperate one.
where I live the whole block has same IP unless you pay xtra to have a seperate one, which I do.

a little help please. coz I am in no way linked to them as far as I know

yes you have the same IP, like TBOSDuck and so we banned you, its 100% the same IP

okay, that is really strange - I will contact my internet provider first thing in the morning.

hopefully they can sort it out so I can get back in game in your servers.
coz I honestly have no idea who they are or how that happened

Im sorry writting here but this isnt the first time i read about a ban for linked accounts and i want to know about how it works.
For example... I have a dinamic isp and my provider change ips at least 1 per week and, Even me, just turning off router will get another ip that i use for avoid Mega limit downloads.

My question... How to know when a player says the truth about linked accounts? because perphaps someday in the future, after isp changed my ip as always i will get the same ip that a cheater used.

You can be in the same building with 1 router for example at home
university's may have multiple routers but will have different ip Address

In our Admin tool when i click on above said account name it shows me the EAGuide,ip Address and PBGuide.
In this case it shows there are 2 linked accounts with different EAGuides and PBGuides but the same ip Address.

So looking at it it's like buying 3 Accounts which link together because of the ip address

In his case all the accounts ip belongs to
Copenhagen
Capital Region
DK
ISP:AS197301 parknet F.M.B.A

playing one time with the same ip, says not that it get linked direct, my husband and i played over 6 month together and the accounts wasn't linked..

so if i ban a cheater and after a few month a other person get the same ip adress, than the adress from the home is a other, but in this fall it is so that they have 3 accounts with the same adress in the moment and this adress say in a IP-Tracker that they are on the same place.

I just been on the phone with Parknet and got my IP set up correctly, so it should be my own IP now.

Thanks Judge and thanks Elfe for trying to clarify me about that linkends accounts.
I have to say that i didnt understand anything, my knowledge about informatic seems not good but i have clear that you can know if a ip is suspicious independently if a guy has the same ip of someone who cheats months ago.
